Assembly Analysis

Assembly Analysis requires reviewing the tools, methods, parts, sub-assemblies, components and mating operations. A program to develop a plan to describe the assembly process will be as detailed as the assembly planner chooses. The plan may not describe all of the details of the process. The plan should include a collection of steps or operations, which must be performed, and some information about the order in which those steps or operations must be performed. The analysis results in a plan that describes the operations, and develops the sequence of operations as totally ordered, sequential, simultaneous, monotone or linear.
